We had a skip delivered. I was unsure on the size and the lady on the phone was so helpful with helping me get the right size. She sent me photos of the skips so I could judge easier, as measurements aren't my forte'. Was delivered promptly and the guy was so friendly and nothing was to much trouble for him. Roll-on Roll-off (RoRo) Skip Hire
When a project produces far more waste than a standard skip can handle, a roll-on roll-off container is usually the most cost-effective answer. RoRo skips are large, open-topped containers that are winched on and off a specialist hook-lift lorry, giving construction sites, commercial premises and large clearances a huge amount of capacity in a single drop.

Weight, Waste Type and Loading
A RoRo container holds a lot, but dense materials such as soil, concrete and hardcore get very heavy long before the container looks full. Weight limits depend on the container and the load, so tell us exactly what you'll be disposing of when you ask for a quote - heavy waste is often better split into smaller containers or handled through our construction waste removals.

Do You Have Room for a RoRo?
RoRo skips need much more space than standard skips. The container itself is long, and the hook-lift lorry needs a clear, straight run to winch it on and off, plenty of overhead clearance and firm, level ground that can take the weight. They're normally placed on private land such as a construction site, yard or car park.

Is a RoRo cheaper than several standard skips?
For high volumes, usually yes. Fewer, larger collections reduce transport and exchange costs. For smaller amounts of waste, a standard skip is normally better value.
Can a RoRo skip go on the road?
RoRo containers are generally too large for the public highway and are placed on private land. If space is tight, ask us about alternatives such as several smaller skips or a rubbish removal service.
Can you exchange the container when it's full?
Yes. We can collect a full container and swap it for an empty one, which is ideal for ongoing construction or commercial work.
What happens to the waste?
