Job Vacancy - HGV Driver Required

Have you completed HGV Class 2 training and are looking for a stable, local driving role? Taylors Skip Hire currently has an opportunity for a skip wagon driver to join our team. This position is ideal for applicants based in Crawley, Reigate, Horley, Redhill, Banstead and surrounding Surrey and Sussex areas.

As a growing local business providing skip hire, rubbish removals and site clearance services, we rely on dependable drivers to help us deliver a consistent service to our customers.

The Role

The role involves delivering, exchanging and collecting skips across our delivery areas, working with both domestic and commercial customers. You will be responsible for ensuring skips are placed safely and accurately, as well as maintaining a professional and helpful approach when dealing with customers on site.

You may be working on a range of jobs, including household clearances, construction projects and general waste collection. This means no two days are exactly the same, and you will be covering a wide local area.

Experience and Training

Previous experience driving a skip wagon or operating similar vehicles is beneficial, but not essential. We are happy to provide on-the-job training for the right candidate, particularly if you already hold an HGV Class 2 licence and are keen to develop your skills within the waste management sector.

What We're Looking For

• A valid HGV Class 2 licence
• Reliable and punctual approach to work
• Good awareness of safety and vehicle handling
• Professional and helpful attitude with customers
• Ability to work independently and manage your route

A good understanding of local areas such as Crawley, Horley, Redhill and surrounding locations will be helpful when planning routes and completing jobs efficiently.
